Chocolate Chip Muffins

Chocolate Chip Muffins

This is my go to recipe for the most moist, bakery style muffins. Loaded with chocolate chips and sky high, these fluffy muffins will make you want seconds (or maybe even thirds). I've tried many recipes that i've seen all over the internet, and I was finally able to come up with something that myself and many others love!

Yield: 12 Muffins

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted and cooled

1 cup granulated sugar

2 eggs

1 cup milk

1 tablespoon vanilla

2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees fahrenheit

2. In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt. Stir all ingredients until combined.

3. In a separate bowl, mix together the butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla.

4. Slowly pour in the wet ingredients into the dry and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.

5. Prepare your muffin pan and muffin liners. Fill each muffin liner halfway with the batter (I like to use an ice cream scooper to make sure each liner is filled evenly).

6. Put your muffins into your 425 degree oven for five minutes. After five minutes have passed, lower the temperature to 375 degrees and leave them for another 15 minutes, or until they become golden. Let them cool for about 30 minutes, then enjoy!
