Burrata Prosciutto Crostini

Burrata Prosciutto Crostini

The crispy garlic bread, creamy burrata, and the salty, soft prosciutto make each bite a burst of flavor. I came up with this recipe on a whim and it now has become a family favorite.

Yield: 12

Ingredients:

12 Baguette Slices

2 tablespoons Olive Oil

1 garlic clove, halved crosswise

8 ounces Burrata Cheese, drained

6 slices Prosuitto di Parma, halved

1/2 cup fresh Basil Leaves, chopped

Salt and Pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place bread slices on a large rimmed baking sheet. Brush both sides of each slice with olive oil. Bake until golden brown, about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let them cool a bit.

  2. Rub each slice with the halved garlic clove.

  3. Cut up the burrata cheese into thick slices. Top each crostini with a piece of the burrata, prosciutto, and basil. Sprinkle salt and pepper and drizzle olive oil. Enjoy!
