Bombica (Chocolate-Nut Truffles)
Due to popular demand, here’s my take on the European snack, Bombica! This tiny yet decadent, chocolatey and nutty goodness is all rolled up into the perfect snack to have with coffee or tea. Enjoy!
Yield: 25-30 Servings
Ingredients:
3 Cups Walnuts, grounded
3 Cups Biscuits, grounded
3 Cups Milk Chocolate (10.5 oz chocolate bar), shredded/grinded (make sure to do this with refrigerated chocolated)
1 1/2 cups softened butter (3 sticks)
2 teaspoons Vanilla
2 Egg Yolks
Small bowl of ground walnuts or shredded coconut for coating
Directions:
Incorporate all of your ingredients into bowl. Mix with your hand until everything is combined.
Roll balls into either bowl of walnuts or coconut.
Put into your fridge overnight before serving. They can last in your fridge for up to 3 weeks!
TIPS:
Make sure your chocolate is cold! I keep it in the freezer for an hour before shredding it up.
If you don’t have the machine grinder, you can put your walnuts into a zip lock and pound them until fine with a wooden spoon. And for the chocolate, you can grind it with a cheese grater.
