Green Detox Smoothie
Ever had a heavy dinner and wake up the next morning feeling bloated and groggy? Well, I got the perfect mix for you. It may look green and scary, but the taste of it is sweet and delicious! The vitamins and minerals in the spinach and celery satiate you, the cucumber hydrates you, the parsley flushes out all "gunk" in your tummy, and the strawberry and banana help sweeten it up with the benefit of potassium and antioxidants. I personally love to drink this almost every morning to help kick start my system and get me going for the day.
Ingredients:
1 cup of spinach
1 banana
1/2 cup strawberries
1/3 cup parsley
1/2 cup cucumber
1 celery stick
1 cup of any nut milk
Directions:
1. Put all of the ingredients into a bullet blender or regular blender and pulse! If needed, adjust amount of milk to make it either a more thick or thin smoothie.
