Shrimp Tacos

Shrimp Tacos

Simple and delicious. My favorite shrimp taco recipe that takes less than 30 minutes! So quick and easy.


Ingredients:

8 small tortillas (flour or corn)

FOR THE SHRIMP

1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails off

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/4 teaspoon paprika

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

3 tablespoons olive oil

The juice of 1/2 of a lime

FOR THE SALSA

1 Avocado, peeled, pitted & chopped

1 Large Tomato, diced

1/2 Red Onion, diced

1 Tablespoon of Cilantro, chopped

The juice of 1/2 of a lime

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

ADDITIONAL TOPPINGS

Sour Cream

Chipotle Mayo

More Cilantro

Lime Wedges

Directions:

  1. FOR THE SHRIMP: Pat the shrimp dry with paper towel. Chop the shrimp up into small pieces. Place in a small bowl with the salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, olive oil and lime juice and toss until coated. Heat a large skillet and drizzle olive oil over medium hight heat. Add the shrimp to the hot pan and sauté for 5-8. minutes. Flip occasionally, until the shrimps are cooked through.

  2. FOR THE SALSA: In a medium bowl, mix together the avocado, tomato, onion, cilantro, lime and salt & pepper.

  3. Time to assemble. Add a scoop of shrimp and a scoop of the salsa. Garnish with sour cream, chipotle mayo and cilantro. Serve and enjoy!
